From half price kicks at the Nike employee store, to donuts with cereal on them at 2 in the morning... Portland was dope. Today I woke up and hit the streets to soak up the city, eventually the guys joined me and we kicked it some more. Enjoy the photos.

Last night I participated in Boom Box's Producer Showcase Vol.7. The line up was, myself, Exile, Samiyam & J. Bizness. I really enjoyed listening to the other producers as a fan. The diversity between our productions styles made it such a well rounded event.

Cruising Cali W/ Trek Life Lsitening To His New Album "Everything Changed Nothing"

So I'm back on the west coast for a few weeks doing a bunch of shows. If you don't already know, I produced an entire album for Trek Life (with the exception of one song) titled, "Everything Changed Nothing". The album was entirely made in California and will be available on Mello music group/Oddisee Music July 27th, 2010.

Critical Exposure Presents - 5000 Images : A Celebration & Retrospective

I had the privilege of attending the opening of Critical Exposures, 5000 Images gallery at the Edison Place gallery in NW DC.

About Critical Exposure
Critical Exposure teaches youth to use the power of photography and their own voices to become effective advocates for school reform and social change.

The organization was founded in 2004 by a former educator and an education policy analyst in response to the drastic disparities that exist among public schools.

By empowering young people to develop skills as documentary photographers and advocates, we expose citizens and policymakers to the realities of our current two-tiered education system as seen through the eyes of the students who confront those realities each day.

To see the predicament of DC schools & everyday life through the eyes of the students is truly an amazing thing. If you didn't get a chance to see it in person, hunt it down!

Timeless: Washington DC Screening

Last night I had the honor and privilege to attend a screening of Timeless. It was one of the most inspirational things I have ever seen. Shout out to Munch for bring this amazing screening to Washington, DC. For more information read below.

Timeless: The Composer/Arranger Series is the name of a concert series that was created in homage to the composer/arrangers who have influenced hip-hop in the most literal and profound ways. Timeless was conceived by production house Mochilla in Los Angeles during February and March 2009 and included the performances of over 150 musicians in front of ecstatic sold out crowds. These three historic events were recorded and filmed in exacting detail with Mochilla's unmistakable style.
