They always say it is the man not the machine, and that's what i love about hip-hop. you can have the mpc and speakers, but its what you do with it that puts you down in history (see J Dilla, Pete Rock and now Oddisee).
Thanks guys, I Use to use a midi controller. I got used to using the mouse pad while on tour & prefer it now. To Max, yes that's a G drive, they're great. & yes, That's Battle Cat from He-Man! lol an old child hood toy my mother found one day.
amir, thanks a lot! i discovered the battlecat also in the video where you showed us your home :-) we are all he-man fans ^^ btw. your picture inspired me to start this series on my blog: http://77e.org/workspaces/workspaces-episode-1-the-beep/
That's awesome. You couldn't have had this same set-up 8 years ago and been happy. And even though it's not more of what you've got than how you use it... there's something to be said of things that make it all more pleasant. You've got a formula kid, stay widdit cuz it works!
What Workstation is that, literally. I've been looking for a more suitable desk, can't find anything as of yet......yours is perfect. can you give us a heads up.
I have a recommendation for you, it's better to put the sounds away from the desk because it's occupating the space that you can use for something else, buy extentions and put them in the wall, of course it's just a suggestion. Good luck

This is really impressive. Dope stuff!
Nice clean workspace. Sometimes less is more. You don't need a lot of hardware especially when you have talent.
