Soul Power After Party

Last night I attended the "Soul Power" after party put together by Put Me On It, Pause & Shook magazine. If you haven't seen the movie, you're crazy. If you've seen the movie, live in London and didn't come to the party, you're even crazier. This party really made up for the fact that I wasn't available in September 1974. The music, people and vibe was so on point I heard numerous people asking was this party a regular night. There was nothing regular about last night, the vibe was so good it felt like I partied with family.

Festival In Brixton

Sunday August, 2nd I went to a festival in Brixton, London. Streets were blocked off and there were some serious, classic Jamaican sounds systems on every corner. The air was filled with the smell of grills letting off smoke and bass from speaker stacked upon speaker.
